Applicability of the General Terms and Conditions
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, reservation requests, and contracts concluded with Camping De L'Our and relating to campsites and accommodations rented by Camping De L'Our.
Camping De L'Our expressly rejects the applicability of any other general terms and conditions.
Reservations – Cancellation
Camping de L’Our only accepts reservations from persons aged 18 or over.
The contract is concluded once we have confirmed your reservation and you have paid the non-refundable deposit. Your preferences will be taken into account as far as possible when making your reservation.
After confirmation of the reservation, the renter shall immediately pay a deposit of 30% to Camping de L'Our. This deposit is non-refundable. You are responsible for taking out the necessary insurance.
The remaining balance must be paid two weeks before arrival. If this is not done after a reminder, the reservation will be canceled 7 days before arrival. If you make a reservation 2 weeks before arrival, the entire amount must be paid immediately.
No refund
will be given in case of cancellation. You must take out
your own travel cancellation insurance
.
A car is included in the reservation.
The reserved space/accommodation will be held for you until 7:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you have not arrived by this time without informing our campsite, your reservation will be canceled and no refund will be given.
The maximum number of people allowed per pitch is 6. An additional tent is permitted with the permission of the staff.
Reservations are strictly personal and non-transferable to third parties. Only the renter specified in the reservation and their traveling companions are entitled to use the pitch or accommodation.
Check-in/Check-out
Check-in is possible from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in high season). Guests must present their passport or identity card upon arrival. Campsites and accommodations are available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.
Pitches are assigned by staff or confirmed by reservation. A change of pitch is only permitted with the approval of staff.
On the day of your departure, you have from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to leave your pitch or accommodation clean and clear.
Camping de L'Our reserves the right to carry out a final inspection of the condition and completeness of the pitch or accommodation on the day of departure from 9:30 a.m. onwards.
No refunds will be given for late arrivals or early departures.
If a guest forgets personal belongings upon departure, Camping de L'Our can store them for a maximum of
one month
. These items will only be returned or collected at the guest's request and at their expense and risk. Camping de L'Our does not offer a home delivery service. If the guest wishes to have the items returned, they must arrange for a collection or courier service themselves. After the one-month storage period has expired, any claim for return expires.
Visitors
Visitors must be registered at reception.
The price applicable for the respective period must be paid for an overnight stay.
Rules of conduct
A maximum speed of 5 km/h applies on our campsite.
From 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., all activities that could disturb the peace and quiet of our guests are prohibited, such as driving cars or motorcycles on the campsite, turning on radios and televisions, talking loudly, disposing of glass in containers, etc.
Adults are responsible for the behavior of the children in their care. They must not disturb the peace and safety of the campsite guests.
Barbecues are permitted. Open fires are prohibited.
The tap water is not intended for playing. Please use the River Our for this purpose.
Smoking is prohibited in our public areas and accommodation.
In the event of fire or other serious emergencies: report immediately to reception and alert the emergency services (112). Police (113). Fire extinguishers are available, see water taps.
Camping de L'Our reserves the right to make changes to the layout and opening hours of the campsite facilities.
It is not permitted to use plastic or root barrier fabric on the lawn at our campsite (including in the awning).
Early termination of the contract by the owner
In the event of non-compliance with the regulations/rules of conduct, the entire group will be asked to leave the campsite/accommodation. The owner may terminate the contract with immediate effect:
if the tenant, fellow vacationers, and/or third parties, despite prior verbal and/or written warnings, do not or do not properly comply with the obligations under the contract, the campsite/accommodation rules, and/or official regulations, and this to such an extent that, according to the standards of reasonableness and fairness of the owner, continuation of the contract cannot be demanded.
if the tenant, fellow vacationers, despite prior verbal and/or written warnings, cause inconvenience to the owner and/or other tenants or disturb the good atmosphere on or in the immediate vicinity of the campsite/accommodation.
if, despite prior verbal and/or written warnings, the tenant violates the intended purpose of the site by using the site and/or his camping equipment.
if the camping equipment does not comply with generally accepted safety standards.
Theft, vandalism, aggression, and drug use are among the reasons for immediate expulsion from the campsite.
After termination, the tenant must ensure that their parking space and/or camping equipment is cleared and that they leave the premises as soon as possible, but no later than within 4 hours.
If the tenant fails to vacate the parking space, the owner is entitled to do so at the tenant's expense. The owner is not liable for any damage resulting from or related to the vacationing of the parking space/accommodation, unless the damage was caused by the owner's negligence. Any storage costs shall be borne by the vacationer.
If the tenant believes that the owner has wrongfully terminated the contract, they must notify the owner immediately and may bring the dispute before a civil court or, at the latest, within 30 days of the eviction, before the arbitration commission.
The tenant remains obliged to pay the agreed amount.
Waste
You must separate your waste and dispose of it in the designated containers.
It is forbidden to dispose of anything other than household waste in our containers. Violations of this rule will result in a charge. There is constant
CCTV
surveillance.
Pets
Pets are allowed on the pitches (max. 2), provided they are kept on a leash and are accompanied outside the campsite to relieve themselves.
Own risk
Tenants and visitors enter our premises at their own risk. We accept no liability for damage and/or accidents caused by third parties. By entering the premises, tenants and/or visitors expressly waive any claim for damages.
We cannot be held responsible for unforeseen events, force majeure, natural disasters, or court decisions that disrupt, interrupt, or prevent your stay and the entertainment/facilities at the campsite.
Damage
Damage must be reported to the reception desk, both damage to facilities in our accommodation and on our grounds. The costs of damage and any consequential costs will be charged.
Collection costs
The tenant shall bear the reasonable extrajudicial costs incurred by the owner after a formal notice of default. If the total amount is not paid on time, the statutory interest rate may be charged on the outstanding amount after a written reminder.
Applicable law
These general terms and conditions are subject to Luxembourg law. In the event of a dispute concerning these general terms and conditions or in relation to this website, the court in Diekirch shall have jurisdiction.
